​Hey y’all — I’m Kaydee, the owner of Cattle & Bakes. What started as a small dream between me and my best friend, Taylor, has grown into something more meaningful than we ever imagined — a place where community, creativity, and comfort come together over good food and even better people.

Cattle & Bakes was born in our own kitchens, offering just two things we loved most: charcuterie boards and homemade baked goods. We wanted to share something simple but special — food and coffee that brought people together. And of course, we couldn’t forget our shared obsession with Highland cows (a.k.a. the cute, hairy ones). That’s how the name came to be — a little quirky, a little unexpected, but full of heart. Just like us.

We knew from the start we didn’t want to follow the typical mold. Our goal has always been to be memorable — to build something different in our little town that still feels like home. And over time, Cattle & Bakes has become just that: a gathering place, a cozy spot to grab your favorite treat, a warm hello in the morning, or a comforting break in the middle of a long day.

But more than the coffee, more than the food — it’s the people that make this place special.

Every employee here is chosen with care, not just for their skills, but for their heart. I want them to feel like family, to treat this business like it’s their own, and to welcome you like you're walking into our home. That’s the spirit of true Southern hospitality — and we try our best to live it every day.

As the owner, I’ve poured my whole soul into this place. It's not just a business — it’s a reflection of love, hard work, late nights, early mornings, and a belief that food and great coffee can create connection. Whether you’re here for a quick coffee or a bite of something sweet from the bakery, know that it was made with care, and served with genuine gratitude.
